Shopping, Haircuts, and Knoxville

Collin was asked to play a Christian Music Festival in Knoxville this weekend, so between practices, traveling and actually playing...it was mostly just Annabelle and I this weekend.

Friday, I had a pretty busy day. I did some shopping with my friend Brittany for the Women's Retreat, ran to the grocery store, made dinner for a family that recently had a baby, and a few odds and end stuff at home.

Saturday, Collin left early to head to Knoxville. I took Annabelle to Snip-Its for a trim. She hasn't had a haircut since last year, and I just got about half an inch off, but it looks so much better!

It was so cute in there! The salon had movies playing, activities for the kids to keep them occupied while waiting, and Annabelle did so well in the chair...because she was watching a show :)
After the stylist was done cutting, Annabelle got sparkles in her hair and a sucker. And she even got to put a piece of her hair and her magic ticket in the prize machine and got a bunny key chain. And that thing didn't leave our sight for the rest of the day! A very good experience!

I promised Annabelle before her haircut, that if she was super good while she was getting her trim...that we would have nuggets {Chick Fil A} for lunch. So we headed to the mall, first to do a little shopping then lunch at Chick Fil A. While in Gymboree, we ran into Jenn and Tayler {Jenn and her husband Derek were in our smallgroup and Tayler is a few months younger than Annabelle}. Annabelle and Tayler are such sweet friends!

We did a little shopping with them, and then ended up having lunch with them too!

After shopping at the mall, we headed home. Annabelle was already asleep before I got on I20 :)
I got in a workout while she napped, and when she woke up she asked to go to Target...ha! She LOVES Target.
We headed to Carrollton to Target, to see if they had some things we wanted for our Women's Retreat. Of course, I can't go to Target without browsing the whole store :)

We finished of the night with Chick Fil A for dinner...we're just a little obsessed with Chick Fil A :)

Sunday, we had church, lunch, and naps...and finsihed off the weekend grilling out with friends!

Annabelle's New Do!

Friday I took Annabelle for her very FIRST Haircut! She was very excited...ok, I was very excited! This girl's hair was getting SO long and unmanageable.

She really needed it! I made sure she had a good nap and a full belly, then we headed to see Brittany!

Annabelle was such a big girl! She sat in the chair and let Brittany trim her hair!

She loved looking at the fishys on the cape! And her new haircut is Darling!

After her haircut, we headed to the mall. And we were stuck there for 2 hours! I planned on just going to maybe 2 stores, but while we were there, it started storming...BAD! The power went out, and it was very windy outside! Thankfully, Annabelle was napping for most of the 2 hours...while momma did some shopping! :)

That night we had Mexican for dinner!

Saturday, we woke up and had Waffle house for breakfast, then did our grocery shopping. We were home by 10:00 am. Annabelle laid down for a nap while we put the groceries up. Then I took a nap as well! Goodness it felt GREAT! We had a very relaxing afternoon at home, then we headed to Peachtree City for my cousin's birthday dinner. Carrabba's never gets old!

Sunday was church and smallgroup. We are doing a new study called Crazy Love. AMAZING!

Looking forward to another FUN week and Weekend! Weston is turning ONE Thursday! And his party is on Saturday! I swear that boy is the sweetest, funniest little boy! And Annabelle loves him! They are the sweetest cousins! And Thank Goodness for another 3 day weekend!
