We went to the hospital Saturday February 22, because I thought my water was leaking again. Sure enough, this time I was right! They started me on Pitocin to induce my labor,but it didn't do anything. That night they put Cervidel on my cervix to thin it out. The next morning, I got up and took a shower and again they started my on Pitocin. I was dilated to a 2 at 7:00 am. Around 9:00 am I was in really bad pain, so I asked for some pain medicine. It really didn't help, but did make me very sleepy! around 11:00 am, I asked for the epidural. It was amazing! From then on I slept! At 2:00 pm Dr. Elliott checked me and told me I would start pushing in 30 minutes! I started pushing at 2:30 and Annabelle made her appearance at 3:12 pm!
She is so perfect! Head full of dark hair just like her daddy!
Nursing is going so good! I have her on schedule of eating every 3 hours and at nights she goes about 4 hours.
