Alternatively titled, "The Fastest, Longest Weekend of my life!" or "The Longest Post EVER!" HA!

I have been wanting to blog about this for WEEKS! But I couldn't, because I knew my aunt read my blog.

Back story:
My cousin is in the Military based in Vegas. He got remarried this past March. His new wife's family lives in Michigan, and were throwing a reception for the newlywed's. Since my mom was unable to attend the wedding, she wanted to go to the reception, and since my dad was unable to go with her, she asked if Annabelle and I would like to go in his place and surprise my aunt! I was so excited, because I have not seen my aunt since my wedding, and she has not met Annabelle!

Thursday:
Annabelle and I spend the night with my parents, since we had to wake up super early for our flight.

Friday:
We got to the airport, got everything checked, and made our way there security. TSA was very helpful to us! Our experience with security was great! They assisted us, and explained everything! But of course, I had to get stopped and have a full body scan. But I was cleared :)
We made our way to the terminal, got some breakfast, walked to all 3 (!) of our gate changes, waited for our plane to be cleaned, and finally boarded our plane an hour late!

Annabelle did very well on the plane. I packed lots of snacks, a new coloring book, and armed myself with Yo Gabba Gabba episodes on my iPod. She slept to last 30 minutes of the flight, but started fussing when we were descending. I gave her her sippy, and paci...thank goodness it didn't last long.
My cousin and his wife picked us up, and we headed to Greenfield Village to meet everyone else. Such a neat place! When we got there is when the surprise went down! It was so good to see my aunt!
We had the best time at the village. Annabelle wanted to walk EVERYWHERE! And we were there for over 4 hours! She loved spending time with her aunt and cousins (My cousin has 2 boys, Ryan and Mason).
When we left there, we headed to our hotel.

After settling in, we ate at Red Robin with my Aunt and her husband.

Saturday:
After sleeping in a little bit, we ate breakfast and got ready. Across from our hotel was a mall. So along with my aunt, we went shopping! After shopping we went to the house that the reception was at and hung out with my cousin and his wife and her family. We had a great time at the reception!

Sunday:
After eating breakfast, my cousin took us to the airport. Is was not fun! Annabelle was throwing a fit, while we were trying to get our stuff out and checked. We made it there security, but not without me having to be scanned again! We boarded the plane, and Annabelle threw another fit, but finally wore herself out, and slept the whole flight. Daddy picked us up, and we headed to my parents house, where Annabelle proceeded to throw another fit. Got ready and headed to a baby shower in Fayetteville. Once there, Annabelle was in a good mood and loved "helping" Melissa open her gifts.

Finally, after the shower we were on our way home! I had to stop and get me stuff at my parent's and Collin welcomed us with opened arms! It was kind of a rough day! But we made it!

We had the best weekend! I loved seeing family I haven't seen in years! But we are so glad to be home!
