The last half, she enjoyed some Yo Gabba Gabba and Veggie Tales via the gadget-every-family-should-own-if-they-travel, also know as a portable DVD player!
Y'all, it was pure bliss! Maybe a couple of whines, but nothing a new DVD or a snack couldn't fix :) We got there around 5:00, and had dinner at Applebee's.
Saturday, was Collin's dad's birthday. We headed to Forsyth Square, for a little fun at the park! Annabelle had the best time!
Sliding,
Running,
and Swinging!
And the best part...I didn't break a sweat! Grandpa did all the Sliding, Running, and Swinging! Pure Bliss! :) It was fun to watch her play and be able to take pictures!!
She didn't take an afternoon nap, which made our dinner at Outback very interesting! She wanted to stay outside and look for "Pup-ees". She is slightly obsessed :)
Sunday, we visited Marshall's church, had lunch, and back to their condo for naps. I thought while Annabelle was napping, I would run to Target real quick to grab a few things for the trip home. I called on my way back to find out Annabelle never napped. She was so sweet though! We went back to church that night for an Ice Cream social and Bible Study. Annabelle loved showing off her mad dance skills :) and loved eating ice cream.
Monday, we said good bye to Marshall and Joan and headed home. Annabelle did very well on the way home, but only slept an hour. I think she was on a bit of a nap strike this weekend :)
We only stopped once to eat lunch, and once for a quick bathroom break.
All-in-all, we had a very good trip all around: No temper tantrums, perfect car rides, and a one cutie pie girl :)
