Friday, Weston got to hang out with us. Annabelle loves spending time with her cousin! She had her 2 year "Well" Check-up, so the 3 of us piled in the car. They were so good! No fussing, no tantrums, just pure sweetness! Everyone kept asking if they were twins, and when I told them they were cousins, the next question was...how old is your son? :) Must have been the hair! Annabelle didn't even fuss during her "Well" Check-up, until her shots. She even let them prick her finger, and didn't even flinch!
2 year stats:
31 LBS. 14 OZ.
2'10" tall
Now onto her "Well" Check-up...Annabelle had a double ear infection (has not complained about it once, although the doctor told me that it didn't look too bad), had low hemoglobin and may be anemic (had to go across the hall to get more blood drawn. Praise the Lord they pricked her thumb and didn't have to draw from her arm!), and has to change to 2% milk (Whole milk has too many calories, she gained 2 pounds in a month!). Other than that she's is HEALTHY! Praise the Lord! I should hear her blood results today or tomorrow.
After we left the doctor's office (after being there for 2 hours!), we headed to the mall to meet my friend Brittany and her son Rhett for lunch and play time! We weren't in the car 2 minutes and this is what I saw:
Pure Sweetness!
No worries! I was stopped at a red light when I took the picture :)
We got to the mall, ate and played while Brittany and I chatted about our upcoming Women's Retreat at church!
On the way home, both babes fell back asleep and didn't even wake up when I brought them inside...and continued to sleep for 2 hours!
Collin was playing in a wedding on Saturday and attended the rehearsal Friday night...so it was just me and Anna. We met Laurice at Publix, so she could pick Wes up and I got Annabelle's antibiotic...then we headed to Chick Fil A for dinner. Annabelle loves to play on the playground after we eat, and this time she got the courage to climb up and really play on the playground...then my worst fear happened. There were other kids playing in there (with no parent supervision!), and these girls were picking Annabelle up and hugging her, then another little girl pushed her down and Annabelle started crying. So I did what I had to, and climbed up to get her :( It was so sad. She kept saying "I go home mommy". So we left.
Funny Story: That night, while I was giving Annabelle a bath, she kept saying "ROAR!" with hand motions. I asked what she was, and she said "ROAR! I dinosaur Mommy! ROAR!"
Saturday, Annabelle woke up nice and early at 6:30! Not sure what she was thinking! So we got up and going. We had breakfast at Martin's and went to the grocery store. Came home, and I guess waking up that early was catching up with her, because she asked to go "Night Night". We had Livi's birthday party at 1, then home to get ready for Sage and Stacie's wedding. Annabelle stayed with our friends Emily and Todd.
The wedding was beautiful! And we had so much fun!
Sunday, was church then lunch with friends. I got a quick workout in, cut Collin's hair, and cooked Chicken Chili for dinner! Daddy came over to pick Buddy up, and stayed for dinner. Then Allen called and asked if her could stop by on his way to Mississippi for work, so he stayed for dinner as well!
Hoping for a non busy week, with a really fun weekend to the Yellow River Game Ranch on Saturday!!
