Women's Retreat

This past weekend was our Women's Retreat...and boy was is exactly what I needed! Priscilla Shirer was a wonderful teacher! It was the perfect ending to our busy season.

I was on the decorating team. And Friday was the day our ideas came together...and it was beyond what i imagined! We were decorating the church until almost 5, and thank goodness Debbie was able to pick Annabelle up from school for us. I rushed home to freshen up and throw some clothes in a bag (for a sleepover afterwards).

Saturday, after the retreat (and everything was cleaned up), I headed to Tryston's 3rd birthday and Gauge's 1st birthday party! Debbie was so sweet to take Annabelle for me, and I was so glad to see my girl! It was such a pretty day, but super windy. I'm pretty sure the pollen was bothering Annabelle, she napped on the way home and did not wake up happy. She was snotty and couldn't breathe through her nose :(

We ended up no going to church Sunday, and good thing because Annabelle didn't wake up feeling much better. Still snotty and not able to breathe...and all she wanted to do was lay with me on the couch.
Collin came home right after Annabelle went down for a nap, and he cut the grass while I got in a quick workout and shower. Annabelle seemed to be feeling better after her nap.
After dinner and a bath we took Annabelle out for ice cream.

Looking forward to a weekend full of...nothing!
