July 4th Weekend!

Before I begin to recap our wonderful July 4th weekend. I wanted to remember a few things about the weekend before. I never got a chance to blog about it, because nothing really happened...but Annabelle did some funny things I always want to remember :)

Saturday, June 26th, Annabelle and I went shopping with my mom. We had the best time! Annabelle was so sweet and well behaved. We were in Kohl's and Mom and I were trying on some things, we turn around and Annabelle has taken off her outfit and wanted to try on a dress :) By the time we were done is was 1:30 and I knew Annabelle was tired.

Sunday, we got up and Annabelle had to have her shades and monkey first thing.

That night we headed to First Baptist Carrollton to hear Debbie and Carson sing and ate Mexican after.

It had rained during the performances, so after we ate there were some awesome puddles for the kiddos to jump in.

Onto 4th of July Weekend!!
We headed down to Panama City Beach for 4th of July weekend! Our friend Davis' parents (Van and Terri) have the CUTEST house on the west end. We left Thursday after the boys got off work, and got there after 10. Annabelle did amazing riding!

Friday, we got up had breakfast

and headed to the beach!

When we came up for lunch, Annabelle laid down for a nap. Terri sent me to the beach, and when Annabelle woke up an hour later the 2 of them played around the house.
It was a real vacation for me! Terri wouldn't let me help cook or clean and when Annabelle was sleeping, she sent me to the beach. Ha!
Terri cooked ribs for dinner and we enjoyed a relaxed evening.

Saturday, while at the beach Annabelle got super tired.

We sat like this for a good hour!...but I could have lasted for days! I don't get snuggles like this anymore.

Terri cooked hot dogs for lunch, and instead of going back to the beach...Annabelle and I headed to Pier Park for some shopping.

We got home just as the boys were getting in from the beach, and we all headed out for dinner.

Sunday morning was rough for Miss Annabelle, nothing seemed to be going her way :( She laid down for a super early nap and slept for a good 2.5 hours! While she was napping, I was sent to the beach, and we we came up for lunch she was just waking up. We enjoyed the rest of the day at the beach!

And grilled out the night.

Monday, we woke up early and made our way home :( I was so sad to leave!

Some Highlights:

• Annabelle kept saying Ocean with a "t" sound at the end. "O Ceant"...is it bad that I couldn't stop laughing...?
• Annabelle LOVED the ocean! She did not want to get out. Her favorite thing to do was to be in her float.
• She also loved the sand! She dug holes and attempted top build a sand castle :)
• She loved to search for sea shells!
• Annabelle was the sweetest the whole weekend! Except for her minor meltdown on Sunday...I blame lack of sleep :)
