Life Happens

We have had a lot on our plate lately. Between Christmas, sick kiddo, sick momma, a new refrigerator, parties, and get togethers...I haven't had time to compose my thoughts!
LAST weekend:
Friday I had my office "Holiday Party", always dull...blah!

Saturday morning, we woke up and had Christmas breakfast at Cracker Barrel with our dearest friends! So much fun, even if Annabelle was stealing bacon off our preacher's plate :)
When we got home, I noticed our freezer wasn't freezing. So we called a appliance repair store, they came out...and within 2 hours, we were told we could pay to get a new compressor {but would be better to just purchase a new one}.

Saturday night {after moving some food to Carson and Laurice's :)}, we headed to see the big man! We met momma, daddy, Allen, Whitney, and Gracie for an early dinner at Maggianos...so yummy!! I ate, and ate, and ate! Then we scooted to Phipps Plaza for our appointment to see Santa!
Annabelle was pumped, until I picked her up and tried to put her in his lap...she had the death grip on my neck :)
We first did a picture of both girls, then Annabelle, then Gracie. Gracie did so good! Although I think she was worried about Annabelle :)

Annabelle was traumatized, poor girl cried for 20 minutes :(

We walked around Phipps, then across the street to Target.

Sunday, Annabelle wasn't feeling well...so we skipped church. But we did pick Collin up so we could pick out our new fridge! It was kinda fun. We got a Whirlpool, with a pull out freezer...and I LOVE it!
Thankfully Collin was able to pick it up and install it {with the help of our friend Josh} that afternoon.

Monday, I kept Annabelle home from school, and I took her to the doctor...sure enough she had a double ear infection. Got some meds, and she is feeling a 1,000x better!

Thursday, Laurice and I took the kids to ride The Pink Pig {or The Pig Choo Choo}. They loved it! And wanted to ride it once it was over. We had a good time walking through Lenox.

She was pumped that she had her VERY OWN ticket!

Friday, we had a date night with our old smallgroup. Collin and I got to plan it, so we suggested Ice Skating. It was so much fun!! Annabelle spent the night with her Grammy and Pappy...spoiled like always :)

Saturday, Collin and I got up and enjoyed breakfast, and a quick trip to Home Depot for supplies to spiffy up a gift for Annabelle :) I cleaned and baked 4 DOZEN cupcakes for Chris' Surprise Graduation Party that night!

Sunday, after church all 3 of us crashed until the church Christmas party that night.

Whew! I think that catches me up!
A lot of rambling! ha!
