Sunday, my dad went into the hospital with crest pains. Luckily, the ER staff didn't play around, and got him in a room quick. It was determined that night, that he did not have have a heart attack. Since he was in Fayetteville {more than an hour from our house}, I decided not to go to the hospital.
Monday, Mom called and said that daddy may have had a minor heart attack and that he was about to have a heart cath performed. I left work, so I could be with my mom. After all was said and done...it was determined that he has a leaky heart valve and an enlarged heart muscle. He is on medicine to reduce the muscle, but may need surgery in the future.
Wednesday, when I was waking Annabelle up and getting her out of her crib, she grabbed on to my fingers to pull herself up and dislocated her elbow {although we didn't know that at the time}. She was crying, and holding her left arm to her chest. She finally calmed down, and we tried to get her jammies off, but when we would move her arm, she would cry.
We decided we should take her to the doctor, and avoid going to the ER. Her doctor's office doesn't open until 9 {this happened before 6:30}, so we got there as soon as they opened. I was then informed that the doctor's were in a staff meeting until 10:30. I was then told, that I should take her to the ER.
I decided then to take her to an Immediate Care Clinic not far from the hospital.
They were super nice, asked us what happened and how old she was...we got signed in and paid the co pay, then waited for our names to be called. The nurse took us back to the room and got Annabelle's vitals, and shortly after that the doctor came in. He listened to her chest , looked {DIDN'T TOUCH} her arm, and said he couldn't do anything and left the room. I was a mess by this point. A nurse came in told us to go the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. And I asked for my money back.
By this time it was close to 10:30, so we headed back to Annabelle's doctor's office. I was told that the doctor's weren't there yet, but I could wait to see if they could fit us in. We waited 10 minutes, and were told that the doctor's were booked with WELL VISITS and could only see her at 4:00!!!! We were told to go to another Immediate Care Clinic near there.
I put Annabelle back into the car, and called before I even left the hospital. The Immediate Care Clinic would see Annabelle, but could not reduce {fix} her dislocated elbow, and they would send us to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
By this point I was the "Crazy Momma", my child was hurt...and I just wanted her to not hurt anymore. Collin arrived, and I'm so glad he did!
And we decided to just take her to the ER, since we were at the hospital. When the nurse was taking vitals, Collin had to leave...but it wasn't long till we were in a room. Not 3 minutes in the room, the doctor comes in, stretches Annabelle's arm out, turned it the the right, then the left, and it popped back into place. Annabelle cried for a minute, but then stopped when he came back in with a Popsicle.

That night Annabelle spent the night with her Nana and Pawpaw, while Collin and I had a date night to PF Changs...yum!
Saturday, was rainy and I cleaned and sweet Collin went grocery shopping in the storm.
Collin pick Annabelle up and on the way home she got sick. And she was sick for the rest of the night. We contained her in the living room, and had a big bowl by her side...thank goodness or we would have had a big mess on our hands.
Sunday, Annabelle and I stayed home all day watching Dora and Lion King. She was eating and drinking. and by Monday was back to herself.
Last week just wasn't a good one :( Hoping this weekend is better!
