Memorial Day Weekend 2012

We had a jammed packed Memorial Day weekend!! Complete with 2 birthday parties, playing at the park, lots of swimming, and food!

Thursday night, as we were ending our walk around the neighborhood...Annabelle tripped and busted it on the pavement :(

Dr. Daddy

Just from walking
Friday night, we had dinner with Mom and Dad at a new-ish Mexican restaurant and Fro-yo! I wish I had a picture of the mix Annabelle came up with...Strawberry Kiwi sorbet, M&Ms, gummy worms, and gummy bears.

Saturday, was our BUSY day. We had Weston's 3rd birthday party that morning at the park, it was hot...but so nice! The kids had the best time playing and getting sweaty.

In between parties, having a Popsicle picnic watching Cinderella

We had Laney and Kaitlyn's party that afternoon at the pool. The kids had so much fun! And I loved just being in a pool :)
Sidenote: Collin was in the pool a good 2 minutes before realizing he had his phone in his pocket...I guess that is one way to get an upgrade :)

After we left the 2nd party, we went to Publix to get some rice for Collin's phone. The home for some BBQ.

Not 1 minute out of the Publix parking lot.
Sunday, we had church, then lunch with some friends at the park. It was hot, but I was so glad they brought a canopy for us to sit under. They wanted to hear about Collin's trip to Honduras and talk missions, and the kids played and played.

When we left the park, we had a message from Chris saying to come over and swim...so we quickly went home, changed, and grabbed our pool bag and headed to the pool. Annabelle was so excited to see one of her sweet teachers at the pool :)
We made our way back to Chris and Kelly's for dinner, while Annabelle fell asleep on their couch.

Monday morning, we decided to hang out with the A/C. So we cooked pancakes,

did some painting, organized a bit, ate Chick Fil A, napped, drew with sidewalk chalk, laied on the quilt in the front yard, made quesadillas, enjoyed a slushie from Sonic, and had early bedtimes!
