Life Lately

These past 2 weeks has been all about transition.

Transition from being a working mom, transition from being at school, transition to a little bit of a simpler life.

Some have been easier than others...but I'm thankful for a new season of life.

Max had his 2 month check up 2 weeks ago...and ::drumroll:: weighs 14 POUNDS! Our big boy is healthy!

I thought I would have a hard time finding stuff to do, but I feel like we have been so busy. Going to the park, library time, lots of walks, play dough, painting, reading, and LOTS of laundry :)

I have finished Annabelle's costume, and need to get to work on Max's! I can't wait to show pictures :)

Life

We have been pretty busy lately...work Gala's, birthday's, family get together's.

The weekend after Annabelle's birthday, I had my work Gala. This event is my most dreaded event of the year! But we made it, and everything went perfect! Other than that, that weekend was pretty relaxing.

Monday, February 27th, Annabelle wore big girl pants to school for the first time! She finally realized what to do! She did so good last week!
And starting Thursday, she didn't have any accidents!

Friday, we had her 3 year well check. She was so funny! And because we were up to date on her vaccines, she didn't get any shots!

To celebrate, we had Chick Fil A for lunch :) and a cookie at Publix while I grocery shopped. Friday night, we went bowling with our First Friday group. It was a little crazy with the kids, but Annabelle LOVED bowling!

I cannot wait to take her again!

While we were at the bowling alley, we got some pretty bad weather. A tornado touched down about 4 miles from us...thank goodness it didn't get any closer!

Saturday, we got up bright and early to have a shopping day with my side of the family. We had fun shopping at Lenox, Ikea, and Atlantic Station. We ate at Six Feet Under {YUMMY!} and Fellini's {Double YUMMY!}.

We didn't get home until 8...and we were in bed by 8:30 :)

Sunday, after church we came home to eat lunch and take extra long naps. And had home group that night. It was Livi's birthday, so I got balloons for the girls. Love watching them grow up together!
Annabelle did have her first accident in 4 days that night. And it was not pretty :)

Looking forward to our anatomy ultrasound on Thursday!

What has happened?!

The Ray House was chaotic last night!

I knew I shouldn't have open my mouth! The flu has come back for round 2...not me, Collin! At least that is what we think he has :( Poor guy! He stayed home from work today to rest, rest, rest!

Something has come over Annabelle...and I think it might have to do something with her molars. She cried and cried last night and there was nothing I could do. It broke my heart! Finally I calmed her down enough to nurse her and finally went to sleep. And the poor girl can't get a break...we bought new wipes last week, and this week she has had a severe diaper rash, and we think it's the new wipes (they have a scent to them, and the ones we usually use don't). So we have since changed back to the original wipes, and the rash seems to be clearing up.

And last night was my night to clean the bathrooms. It didn't happen! I got the guest bathroom sorta cleaned while Annabelle was playing in the tub. And my sweet hubby cleaned the kitchen for me at 9:00 last night, because Annabelle was fussing.

I'm just praying that Annabelle and I don't catch whatever Collin may have!

31 Weeks!

I just got back from North Carolina...it was such a fun trip! Now I am wrapping presents.

I am 9 weeks away from being full term! CRAZY! And we have a name change! Instead of Anna Belle...her name will be Annabelle Leigh! So now she is named after her grandmothers and her mother!

The happenings!

Here's a run down of whats been going on!

• This past Sunday, Collin and I had been married 9 months!
• Yesterday we put an offer down for the house that both Collin and I LOVED! Hopefully we will find out today if the seller's accepted it.
• Next Wednesday, I leave to go to NEW YORK CITY! I am SO EXCITED about this trip.
• We go back to the doctor on Monday. I hope to hear Baby's heartbeat!
• I'm almost done with the first trimester! I hope the All Day Sickness gets better!
• We find out what we are having on September 4th!

Olive!

With basic physical structures in place and increasingly distinct facial features, baby is kind of starting to look like... well... a baby! -The Bump.

ARE IN THE MAIL!!! Sorry for the delay...with holidays right after the wedding, it was hard to sit down and write them. But, with the help of Collin, we got them DONE! I know it 3 months(!) after the wedding, but Emily Post said I had 6 months to get the out.

So...we have been married 3 WHOLE months! CRAZY! Life couldn't be any better!

Collin has almost raised enough money for his trip. God has defenitly BLESSED this trip!
Collin got his first round of shots on Sunday, and will have the final round in a month. Also, he has to take a pill while over there, so we have to get a perscription for it.

We are also getting ready for Collin's brother, Carson, and one of my very best friends, Laurice, wedding! They are getting married March 15th, and we could not be more EXCITED!

Other than that...life is getting to be normal again.

SNOW!

We got A LOT of snow on Wednesday! And we I say A LOT, I mean about an inch. But, that's A LOT in Georgia! I was still at work when it started, and I just couldn't keep my eyes off it...it was BEAUTIFUL! I got home that night, and Collin was there (usually he has youth Wednesday's, but it was cancelled for obvious reasons.). He cooked a pizza, and we just relaxed...well, I relaxed, he played XBOX. This weekend we should be getting some more snow!
Tonight, I am headed to the Kway Homecoming game with the girls. It will fun to see some old classmates! And tomorrow, I'm off the DNOW at Tabernacle, to watch Collin play.
