Mother's Day 2012

Friday, I had a big errand day...grocery shopping, haircut, Target, and chiropractor. I picked up Annabelle, headed home for about 15 minutes...then left back out to go to my aunt's for my cousin birthday dinner.

Annabelle spent the night with my parents, she was so excited about eating her "white donuts" :)

Saturday, Weston came over to hang out with us. I think he missed his cousin...but I was excited to spend one-on-one time with him!
After Carson picked him up, Collin and I had a lunch date at Chick Fil A and ran into our newly engaged friends! We were so excited to see them and hear all about it and talk wedding plans. They asked if Annabelle would be a flower girl! She is pretty popular in weddings this year :) Ha!

After lunch, Collin vacuumed my car, we headed home to get ready to go to my parent's house for a Mother's Day cookout. We had a great time with family, and showering our mom with gifts!

Sunday, we woke up to a rainy day. I had a sweet homemade card waiting for me on my night stand {Collin was already gone to church}. Getting Annabelle and my almost-30-week-pregnant self into the car without getting soaked proved to be harder than it looked {and believe me, it looked hard!}. Thankfully, Collin was waiting for us at church to help us in.
Anna and her friend Kaitlyn...twins for the day :)

We ate lunch at our usual spot with Carson, Laurice, and Weston...then we headed home for some relaxing time. We didn't have Home Group Sunday night, but i did cook Mexican Stuffed Peppers :)

I'm so thankful to be a Mother to Annabelle and soon Max!
And so thankful for my Mother!

Mother's Day 2011

We had a great weekend! Even though I had two sickies in the house, there wasn't a lot of whining...and no time outs! A Mother's Day Miracle :)

Friday night, we attended Preston's going away party! He is being sworn in to the Marines today.
We had a good time hanging out with friends! The boys played Horse Shoes, and Bocce Ball, while the girls talked and the babies played. Annabelle fell no less than 3 times while we were there, but got some pretty cool Garfield band aids :)

Saturday, Collin got up and went with a group from church to Alabama, to help with the clean up from the Tornadoes. Annabelle and I went grocery shopping and napped.
Poor Girl :( Not feeling good at all!
I planned for us to go to the park, but She wasn't feeling it...poor girl, her allergies were bothering her bad and she didn't even have a voice :(

Sunday, I woke up to the prettiest necklace for Mother's Day!

L-R: A (Annabelle), E (Erin), C (Collin)
It was the perfect Mother's Day gift!
Me and my sweet girl!
It is something I will wear every day, and cherish! And it has room for more charms...WAY down the road :)
We went to church, then had lunch with Carson, Laurice, and Weston. We are so blessed to have family that we are so close with! And cousins that love each other! So blessed!
We came home for naps, but Collin and I have been playing Words with Friends...and it was an intense game...so there was no nap! The best part...I won!

Mom and Dad came over for dinner, Chicken Chili (YUM!) and Hershey Pie (Double YUM!).
We had the best time, playing, walking, and picking flowers :)

While walking, Annabelle busted is twice before getting back to the house :( Poor girl...can't catch a break! She had double boo boo's and both knees. We ended the night with a bath and some Gabba :)

When I dropped Annabelle off at school this morning, her teacher gave me some artwork Annabelle has done...and I love hanging her pictures up in my office :)

Mother's Day Weekend 2010

This weekend was all about Mother's! I feel extremely blessed to be a Mother! Not just a Mother, but Annabelle's Mother!

This was my 2ND Mother's Day, and by far the best one yet!
Friday: Collin, Annabelle, and I headed to Atlanta to go to the Aquarium. We had lunch at the CNN center, walk through Centennial Park, and then onto the Aquarium! We thought it was the perfect day to go, because it wouldn't be too crowded, boy were we wrong! I guess schools were taking their end of the year field trips! But we still had a great time! Annabelle loved everything about the Aquarium! Her favorite was the Beluga Whales, we stayed there for 15 minutes watching and pointing!
Saturday: I spent the day with my mom, sister-in-law, and her mom. We ate Olive Garden, and headed to The Fox Theatre to see Mary Poppins! It was so good!
Sunday: By far the LONGEST day of my life! I woke up to Annabelle talking to herself and clapping. I got her and brought her to bed and we watched Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and Collin brought me the card that "Annabelle" made for me :)
So sweet!
We left the house at 8:30 and headed to church, and then to lunch with my parents at The Farm House. So yummy! But, Annabelle was so off schedule! We didn't sit down for lunch till 1:30 (she usually eats at 12 and is starting her afternoon nap at 1:30), and she was cranky! She did love walking around Serenbe.
Finally we got back to my parents house (just 3 miles from the restaurant) and Annabelle laid down for a nap. I hated waking her up, but we still had to go to Collin's mom's house. She fussed almost the entire way :( Finally we got there and saw all of her cousins and had some dinner. She was a much happier baby! After dinner, all the kids played and played outside. It was so sweet to see them playing together! And even though Annabelle couldn't keep up with them, she loved it!
We did not get home till 9:30! I felt like we had been around the world and back!
It was a wonderful weekend! I feel very loved and blessed!
