Mother's Day Weekend 2010

This weekend was all about Mother's! I feel extremely blessed to be a Mother! Not just a Mother, but Annabelle's Mother!

This was my 2ND Mother's Day, and by far the best one yet!
Friday: Collin, Annabelle, and I headed to Atlanta to go to the Aquarium. We had lunch at the CNN center, walk through Centennial Park, and then onto the Aquarium! We thought it was the perfect day to go, because it wouldn't be too crowded, boy were we wrong! I guess schools were taking their end of the year field trips! But we still had a great time! Annabelle loved everything about the Aquarium! Her favorite was the Beluga Whales, we stayed there for 15 minutes watching and pointing!
Saturday: I spent the day with my mom, sister-in-law, and her mom. We ate Olive Garden, and headed to The Fox Theatre to see Mary Poppins! It was so good!
Sunday: By far the LONGEST day of my life! I woke up to Annabelle talking to herself and clapping. I got her and brought her to bed and we watched Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and Collin brought me the card that "Annabelle" made for me :)
So sweet!
We left the house at 8:30 and headed to church, and then to lunch with my parents at The Farm House. So yummy! But, Annabelle was so off schedule! We didn't sit down for lunch till 1:30 (she usually eats at 12 and is starting her afternoon nap at 1:30), and she was cranky! She did love walking around Serenbe.
Finally we got back to my parents house (just 3 miles from the restaurant) and Annabelle laid down for a nap. I hated waking her up, but we still had to go to Collin's mom's house. She fussed almost the entire way :( Finally we got there and saw all of her cousins and had some dinner. She was a much happier baby! After dinner, all the kids played and played outside. It was so sweet to see them playing together! And even though Annabelle couldn't keep up with them, she loved it!
We did not get home till 9:30! I felt like we had been around the world and back!
It was a wonderful weekend! I feel very loved and blessed!
